For the Love of Philly

Tuesday night Chris and I went to Philadelphia to watch the Flyers beat the Caps 3 to 2 in OT!! If you don't watch hockey then you don't know what you are missing.  It's nothing like football or baseball or any other sport.  There really is no way to describe it.  The passion on the ice and in the atmosphere in the arena is so incredibly intense.  I always liked hockey, but after watching the Flyers make history in the playoffs last year..... there really are no words to describe it.... I'm hooked forever.

I would love to live in Philly.... not only because it is an awesome city but then we could get Flyers season tickets!  We really should take more day trips up there, we had so much fun when we went 2 years ago. There is something amazing about this city. I can't explain what it is but I'm madly in love with Philly!!
It wasn't just the great parks
or the awesome philly cheese steaks
but the feeling I get walking around the city.
Happy Friday everyone.... this long week is finally coming to an end. Meaning, no more stressful medical malpractice work and trial prep while being massively inconvenienced by delayed school every other day for one or two drops of snow! Instead, I will be up to my head in laundry, dust and other unfinished projects.
I attempted to hang the chandelier last weekend. Getting it wired to light was no problem, but there are a lot of other issues. Since I have to take it to get re-wired, it will probably be a few more weeks months until I get around to doing that. Funny thing is, I screwed something in too tight, trying to see if the new hollow screw thingimagig (yes that is the official name) would be the right size (after 3 trips to local hardware store)... it wasn't - it was too long, which is why I kept screwing it in.... now it is stuck. I dont know how I will fix that, but in the meantime, we will be without an overhead light in the dining room. Lame.
If I ever catch up on my laundry and house work then I can begin a new project, like putting shelves in the laundry room, cleaning out the storage area or painting Chloe's desk.... then I will post something more interesting. Until then......
