We are going to DC tomorrow to see the Caps take on the St. Louis Blues.  You probably already know, I love hockey!  I am more excited to be spending an evening with my sisters-in-law and their significant others! It's going to be a fun adult night out!!

It's been a slow start this month, but I promise I have some projects I am working on and will share soon!  I am hoping for a sander for my birthday, that will speed up a lot of my projects - sanding by hand takes forever! Do you guys ladies have an electric sander or do you sand by hand?  What kind of electric sanders do you recommend? There are so many options I have no idea which one I want!

  1. Your projects are all so great. I really like the coffee table redo. We women have come a long way when we can say we want a power tool for a birthday present & REALLY mean it!

  2. Congrats on your feature :D You rock, Erika with a "K" !!!!

I use and electric sander, but then I always follow-up with fine grain sandpaper. I like my Black and Decker one :D

Have fun at the hockey game! BTW studies have shown that if a guy wants to get lucky, he should take his date to a hockey game; it even ranked above a romantic comedy movie *giggles*

  4. We first borrowed a palm sander from my dad...and then it broke in the middle of our kitchen table project :( Boo!

BUT...Craigslist to the rescue! We got a belt sander (with 3 replacement belts) for $20...woo hoo! Check out your local Craigslist!! :)
