I Love My (Vol II)...

The last time I wrote about baby products I love (read that post here.)  This time I am going to share some mom products I could live without, but why would I want to?!

Things I'm glad I don't have to live without...
Greek Yogurt.  Yummmm!! I have one everyday at work. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular yogurt again.

My iPhone.  Not only is the camera amazing and like my own little snap and shoot that I'm always carrying with me but it really helps me get through those middle of the night feedings!

I love my mommy van!
My Crock Pot.
There is nothing quite like having dinner ready when you get home from work.  Although that does mean planning a little bit ahead and throwing some food in there in the morning.  I usually "wing-it" with dinner and don't know what I want until I'm hungry for it!

Aveeno Baby.

Ok, this may technically be for the baby but I use it everyday too.  It is soft enough to use on my face without making me breakout like a teenager.

Godiva Dark Chocolate Pearls.
These are the perfect chocolate fix.  Pop two of them in my mouth to satisfy my occasional sweet tooth!
My African Violet.
It's so lovely having a plant that blooms year-round.  It's great having pretty flowers to look at, especially during the winter months!

Despite being grateful for the above things.... recently, I have been watching a friend go through a really hard time.  It reminds me to look at what I have and never take it for granted. I'm so grateful for my wonderful husband. I couldn't ask for a better person to raise my kids with.  It makes a flooding basement and broken furnace or our shrinking savings account seem a little less dramatic.  What is important is going to sleep and waking up next to that special someone that makes everything in life more enjoyable.

Really... the best things in life are not things.

The weekend is almost here!

  3. My wifey also has a mommy van sticker like yours. I think it's a trend these days. This is a nice list you have here. Indeed, these items make mommy-hood even more fun.
