Randomness

I love a nice relaxing weekend.

After a trip to Toys R Us, where Chloe got to spend a gift card from Christmas, Chris and Chloe spent hours and hours (and hours and hours) putting together some Lego Star Wars thing... an X-Wing or something...
It was great. Coffee, hot chocoalte , PJs and spending time with each other. Perfect.
Benjamin was content hanging out... playing with his toys.
This weekend I didn't even notice any problems with Benjamin's torticollis... until about 7pm when it's almost bed time and he gets tired .  I can't wait for physical therapy next week to tell Benjamin's therapist about his improvement and show her his progress.  Yay, buddy we're proud of your hard work!

Chloe had a cool fort going on in her room this weekend. She taped pictures of stars on the inside ceiling of the fort and invited me on an awesome trip to star fort! (Very much like star lab that they have at school).  I learned about some cool constellations, about the planets, the sun and moon... it was fun!  Then at bed time she asked if she could sleep in the fort.  I said, "are you sure... it isn't very comfortable sleeping on the floor."  Chloe responded, "yea but isn't that the whole idea of a fort?"  I guess she's right. I must have forgotten how cool it is to sleep in a fort!

I found out something pretty great.  Lanolin cream works great for all kinds of stuff.  Benjamin had this horrible rash on the sides of his head. It looked like bad eczema and I could tell it was bothering him, as he was always trying to scratch his head.  So, Friday night when I put him to sleep I put a pea size amount of Lansinoh lanolin cream on both sides of his head...

and he woke up rash free! Amazing stuff. His daycare teacher recommended this to me!  And since he likes to sleep swaddled he didn't get it all over his hands.... but if he did it isn't a big deal if he gets it in his mouth.

It's so much easier getting thousands of pictures of the baby than Chloe.  Half of my pictures of Chloe look like this...

Although I did get this look from Benjamin... it looks like if he could talk he would say "stop taking my picture mom, I'm trying to play here!"
My cutie pies, I love them both!
It's amazing how much I miss them when I'm at work. I can't wait for next weekend already.

At least they have fun in school and daycare. I usually get an "aww man" from Chloe when it's time to go home. They even do fun crafts with the babies at daycare... here is a cute train the teachers helped Benjamin make! lol
Hope you had a wonderful weekend and enjoy the week ahead!

oh i went to reply to your comment on my blog, i always like to reply via email and your email address is not enabled.

    did you know that?

this means that you spend so much time leaving lovely comments on people's blogs and they have no way of responding to a question or thanking you for stopping by or just continuing the conversation...because instead of your email address all they see is "no-reply comment".

    sad right?

you can fix that if you like.

just go to your dashboard, click edit profile and click show email address and then click save profile.

    easy!!!

and i PROMISE if you change this blogging will get even better and become even more fun!
