I Love My...

Baby gear I'm happy I don't have to live without...

1.  Ergo Baby Carrier, with infant insert!  I love taking our daily walks with this. It keeps little one comfy and cozy.  Plus, it never fails to put him to sleep.  He was so cranky the other night and after trying everything else and he still couldn't get to sleep, I put him in this and he was out cold in two minutes!

2.  Boppy Pillow.  It makes nursing much more comfortable but we can use it so many different ways!  I especially loved those first few weeks when Benjamin would curl up and fall asleep after nursing.... or what we call his milk coma.
Plus, big sister Chloe likes holding her little brother with the Boppy and reading to him in it.
3.  Fisher Price Deluxe Musical Mobile Gym.  It has two of Benjamin's greatest loves - colorful lights and music!  He gets tons of happy time with this gym.
4.  Fisher Price Rock 'N Play Sleeper.  This is where Benjamin sleeps next to our bed.  If he starts squirming it rocks him right back to sleep!
5.  Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash.  Benjamin broke out in either a horrible rash or had a case of infant acne... either way, it was not looking good.  I switched from Johnson and Johnson to this Burt's Bees and his rash started clearing up right away.  Plus it smells Oooo so good!

A special thanks to my wonderful mother-in-law who bought me items 1, 4, and 5 on this list!

When you had a baby were there a few things that made yours and your baby's life more enjoyable?

  2. I agree! I've had the Baby Bjorn for kids 1 and 2, now I have the Ergo and it's amazing. Plus I can nurse with the baby in it, which just makes my whole life work:)

  3. Hopping over from BNOTP.
That Rock-n-Play sleeper was a life saver! Han Solo had terrible reflux and could not sleep flat. The RNP was the answer! He went in it at 4 weeks and slept beautifully. He started sleeping through the night at 5 months. We transitioned him to a crib 2 months ago (he was 8 months) because he got to where he could rock it across the floor. It was pretty funny, but we knew it had to go. The transition was hard really because he was so used to sleeping on an incline. It took about 3 weeks, so be prepared! We gave it to a friends and I was sad to see it go.

  5. I love my Name Bubbles labels - Colorful & supercute. I use them for labeling everything sent to Daycare. They're washable & stick to the care tags in clothing as well as dishes & bottles.
