The Key to a Happy Marriage

Marry the most wonderful man in the world.  (Sorry, there is only one and he's taken.)
Marry someone who makes you laugh everyday... no matter what.
And of course... Date night!
It is important to make time for yourselves, especially after you have kids.
My husband and I had a very nice date on Friday night.
Anyone in the Baltimore area, I highly recommend The Brewer's Art.

They have delicious food, a nice choice of microbrews and to die for dessert.
We have been making date night a monthly priority!

Do you make date night a priority?  How was your weekend?

  2. Date nights been a priority for us for a while now. Before Parker was born we went out every other Friday night. Some were more extravagant than others, but we always made sure to have time together. We still do date night every other week, but sometimes it is a family date instead of just the 2 of us. We still have been able to get out at least once a month without Parker.

  3. Cute photo! So glad you guys got a date night over the weekend. I'm sure it felt great!

Of course, I can tell you and my other friends to do it, but do we? No. We've been on only one. But I do promise to schedule something for our anniversary coming up!

  4. We always hang out but probably go on real dates only about once a month- we really need to more often.

  5. This is sweet. :) I can't even tell you how I stumbled on your blog, but I'm also an Erika with a K (best way to spell it!) and wanted to say hi. :)
