Life is busy when you have two beautiful and wonderful kids to play with!
I'll try and give you a breif recap of the past month....
Chloe is having fun learning the basics of hockey.
Look at our little hockey player! Isn't she cute?!
She loves it and is having a lot of fun!
Benjamin is getting big and growing so fast!
He is starting to become mobile. He rolls, pevits and scoots all over the place trying to get somewhere (or everywhere). I give it another month before he is crawling! (Yikes!) Not sure if I'm ready for that!
Benjamin LOVES eating!
After the OK from the doctor at 4 months, we decided to wait a little bit longer. (What's the rush?) We started feeding him cereal at 5 months and he ate like a champ. Since I hate pictures of babies with food all over their faces... this is Benjamin waiting on food... he loves hanging out in his high chair while I cook dinner! He is still just eating one meal a day, at dinner. So far he loves everything, meats, vegetables, fruits and oatmeal!
I also introduced him to a sippy cup. Sometimes with water and sometimes with expressed milk. He loves it (both with the water and the milk)! He needs some practicing controlling the sippy cup himself but with a little help Benjamin drinks from it and really loves it.
And, since he is eating everyday and sometimes it gets messy, that means more baths!

He has also been practicing sitting!
He does really well... but still likes to just throw himself backwards when he is tired of sitting (hence the boppy around him to cushion his fall).
No need to adjust your computer monitor... he really is getting cuter and cuter!
He got his first professional pictures done at daycare last month and they turned out adorable!

And this pretty girl is getting sweeter and more beautiful every day!
She had a lemonaid stand a couple weekends ago. It was for the neighborhood yard sale so there was plenty of foot traffic and she made about $15.00!
Even with the age difference, these two love each other!
and I am one very proud mom!
Oh my goodness he is so cute! My baby just figured out sitting up (also with the boppy as a backup!) yesterday, it's a whole new world for her! And I could just eat him up in that bath photo:)
ReplyDeleteHow's the sleep coming? We battled through a cold, back to sleep, then last night we left the kids with my sister and she got the baby!!! Ugh, apparently she wasn't even awake, but they looked at the monitor and thought she was too close to the side, so they moved her. Ahh! So looks like we'll have to let her cry it out tonight... It just never ends:)

I love the one of little Benjamin in the bath he looks to be posing. Possibly getting ready for his first professional photo shoot with GQ or something like that. Plus Chloe if getting more beautiful everyday. amazing kids you have there
ReplyDeleteAwww, great photos! I can't believe how much the little guy has grown since I "met" you. He looks adorable in that pose in the bathtub and I love that he uses the sippy too. I love that your little girl is playing hockey! That's such a cool thing for a girl to do. And congrats to her on her successful business!

My goodness Erika your children are growing so fast. A sippy cup...those were the days! I remember my older boy flinging his across the room when he was done...LOL, I crack up thinking about it.
